I’m a family photographer specializing in relaxed, documentary-style sessions that meet children exactly where they are. My approach is autism-friendly, neurodivergent-affirming, and sensory-aware—but it’s designed to help every family feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Whether your child is autistic, has ADHD, is a PDAer, has sensory sensitivities, or simply needs extra time to warm up, I create sessions with flexibility, patience, and respect for each child’s unique needs. There’s no pressure to perform or pose perfectly—just space for your family to be yourselves.
I offer sensory-aware family sessions throughout Nashville and full-day documentary sessions worldwide for families who want honest, meaningful photographs that tell the story of their everyday lives.

My Approach to Family Photos
Your family photos shouldn't be like anyone else's because your family isn't like any other. As a mom to an industrious trio of boys and a little girl, I can tell you we don't spend our days running in tandem through flowered meadows and gather around in our matching outfits. Our days are chaotic and colorful, messy and mesmerizing, exhausting and exhilirating. And I think family photos should show that.
This is why I love candid photography: it prioritizes authenticity over perfection. And I believe that as we show more of ourselves exactly as we are, we create a society that is more understanding and less judgmental, less fearful. A society where our our kids can grow up and be themselves—and see the beauty in others who are different from them.
